In their own words, via the Town

Ron was raised in Toronto and along with his wife, purchased their first home in Georgetown in 1987. They have raised their 2 kids in Halton Hills and now spend most of their free time with family and friends. Their daughter and son-in-law are raising their young family in Acton and their son and daughter-in-law operate a small business in East York. Ron is continuing his 41 year career as a sales professional in the Canadian food industry having been a part of introducing many new food products to Canadian consumers. Through the years, he has been active as a community volunteer with Georgetown Minor Hockey and Baseball, Kinsmen Girl’s Softball, Georgetown Kinsmen Past-President, Halton Hills (Property Standards Committee) and Living Hope Church. Ron stays active playing on two ball teams; the Georgetown SloPitch League and A League of Our Own (modified mixed fastball).
