Council Meeting

THAT the Council of the Town of Halton Hills meet in closed session in order to address the following matters: 2.1 OFFICE OF THE CAO REPORT NO. ADMIN-2021-0003 dated January 4, 2021 regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual including municipal or local board employees. (Halton Hills Community Energy Corporation) 2.2 Confidential Verbal Update by C. Mills, Acting Chief Administrative Officer regarding advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.

THAT the Council for the Town of Halton Hills reconvene this meeting in open session.

THAT the following minutes are hereby approved: 8.1 Minutes of the Council Meeting held on December 14, 2020. 8.2 Minutes of the Special Council Meeting held on December 15, 2020. 8.3 Confidential Minutes of the Council Meeting held December 14, 2020.

THAT Council do now convene into General Committee.

THAT the recommendations regarding the Reports & Memorandums from the Monday, January 11, 2021 General Committee Meeting are hereby adopted: GC-2021-0001, GC-2021-0002 GC-2021-0003, GC-2021-0004

THAT the following minutes are hereby received for information: 11.1 Minutes of the Downtown Georgetown Business Improvement Area Board of Management Meeting held on September 15, 2020. 11.2 Minutes of the Downtown Georgetown Business Improvement Area Board of Management Meeting held on October 13, 2020. 11.3 Minutes of the Downtown Georgetown Business Improvement Area Board of Management Meeting held on November 10, 2020. 11.4 Minutes of the Halton Hills Public Library Board Meeting held on November 11, 2020. 11.5 Minutes of the Heritage Halton Hills Committee Meeting held on December 16, 2020.

THAT the General Information Package dated January 11, 2021 be received.

THAT Report No. ADMIN-2021-0003, dated January 4, 2021 regarding regarding personal matters about an identifiable individual including municipal or local board employees (Halton Hills Community Energy Corporation) be received; AND FURTHER THAT Staff carry out Council's direction on this matter as set out in the Confidential Council Minutes dated January 11, 2021.

THAT the Confidential Verbal Update by C. Mills, Acting Chief Administrative Officer regarding advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose (Halton Hills Community Energy Corporation0 be received for information.

THAT the following Bills are hereby passed by Council; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the said by-laws and affix the seal of the Corporation thereto: BY-LAW NO. 2021-0001 A By-law to Dedicate Reserve Block 20, Plan 20M-1055 as part of the Public Highway System known as Eaton Street. BY-LAW NO. 2021-0002 A By-law to provide that Section 50 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, does not apply to Lots 98 to 105 inclusive, Plan 20M-1208 BY-LAW NO. 2021-0003 A By-law to borrow funds temporarily to meet current expenditures during the fiscal year ending December 31, 2021. BY-LAW NO. 2021-0004 A By-law to adopt the proceedings of the Council Meeting held on the 11th day of January, 2021 and to authorize its execution.
